Are you a large group? Then the Plaza Room is probably the best option for you, as it can accommodate up to 32 people, making it ideal for slightly larger celebrations. Very similar in style, with capacity for up to 28 people, 1888 also offers the University Room.
In the Complutense City, the Complutum Room could not be missing; it can accommodate up to 18 people, ensuring a somewhat more intimate atmosphere.
And if you are a smaller group but looking for an intimate, special space, there is a private room for 7 guests with beautiful views over Plaza de Cervantes. It is a charming corner, filled with natural light and featuring decor whose elegance does not go unnoticed. It is ideal for important or more intimate gatherings where major business deals are closed, or for that birthday you want to celebrate with your closest friends and family.

Special set menus for groups
We offer three set menus for groups to share, savour and celebrate, each suited to different budgets. All of them include two drinks per person (choice of beer, soft drinks or wine), bread, water, and shared starters for every four people.
Starting with the Centro de Mesa Menu which, for 40 euros, offers delicious sharing dishes featuring the house classics, such as mushroom and Iberian pork jowl croquettes, Casa&Fonda Russian salad with pickled tuna, glazed mushrooms with poached egg, grilled artichokes with truffled yolk and breadcrumbs, sliced entrecôte with foie gras and PX reduction, grilled Angus skirt steak, and caramelised French toast with vanilla ice cream to finish on a sweet note.
The Complutum Menu, priced at 50 euros per person, lets you share Iberian ham with tomato bread, mushroom croquettes, Casa&Fonda Russian salad, and ember-roasted pisto with grilled chistorra. Afterwards, each guest can choose a main course between grilled cod loin with pil-pil and roasted red peppers, or glazed Iberian pork pluma with fries and padrón peppers. And of course, it all finishes with our signature torrija.
The Casa & Fonda Menu takes sophistication a step further and offers, to share, Iberian ham, sliced entrecôte, ember-roasted pisto, glazed mushrooms, and Cantabrian anchovy toast with grilled bread and salmorejo. The main course, this time, is chosen between grilled line-caught hake with roasted peppers and Bilbao-style sauce, or grilled Iberian pork presa with creamed spinach and diced potatoes. In this 60-euro menu, dessert is a delicious Alcalá-style costrada with vanilla cream.
In all of these menus, you can add an extra beef sirloin for an additional 5 euros.
